In the age of electrification—where conformity often masks as innovation—Jaguar has chosen to go back to what made it legendary: originality. Sir William Lyons, the marque’s visionary founder, believed a Jaguar should “Copy Nothing”. With the all-new Jaguar Type 00, this philosophy is not only alive, it’s electrified.
Making its European debut not at a motor show but at Paris Fashion Week, the Type 00 wasn’t merely shown—it was worn, witnessed, and worshipped.
Draped in “French Ultramarine,” a satin-finished hue echoing Renaissance prestige, the Type 00 glided through the Parisian streets like a haute couture statement piece. The city’s fashion elite weren’t the only ones turning heads—this car was the main event.
Star Power on Four Wheels
The Type 00's Paris presence wasn't limited to still life. It became a living, breathing extension of the fashion calendar.
Barry Keoghan, Irish actor and star of Saltburn, was spotted pulling up to The Peninsula Paris after the Valentino show, drawing crowds as he exited the sleek Jaguar and retrieved his luggage in style.

The following day, Jamie Dornan, actor, model and musician, made an entrance at the iconic Hôtel Plaza Athénée, arriving in the Type 00 to prepare for the Loewe show—graciously greeting fans before slipping inside.

And for the closing chapter, Zoë Saldaña, Oscar-winning star of Emilia Pérez, Avatar and Avengers: Endgame, made a dramatic exit from the Type 00 at the Saint Laurent show, driven by husband Marco Perego Saldaña. Draped in YSL, Zoë turned the car into an accessory of sheer Parisian cool.

Social media lit up. Crowds gathered. Phones rose. Every stop the Jaguar Type 00 made was captured, shared, and dissected. Any lingering questions about the car’s reality were silenced as it cruised through Paris’ cobbled glamour with poise and power. The arrival moments were as cinematic as the stars themselves.
Design Born from Boldness
This isn’t retro-futurism. This is Jaguar breaking its own mould. With no combustion or hybrid distractions, the Type 00 is Jaguar’s first all-electric grand tourer on the new JEA (Jaguar Electric Arquitecture) platform—an audacious four-door GT delivering estimated 430 miles (692km) EPA and a driving experience that’s “brutal but refined,” in the words of Managing Director Rawdon Glover.
The silhouette is sculptural: elongated bonnet, plunging roofline, 23-inch alloys, and fastback geometry. The rear? A dramatic horizontal slash that conceals full-width taillights, adding width and tension to the form.
Inside, a panoramic roof integrates seamlessly with a sensorial interior where the mood shifts depending on the totem you insert—crafted from travertine, alabaster, or brass —each triggering a unique blend of light, scent, and sound.
Jaguar Stores: Where Luxury Lives
And this is only the beginning. Jaguar is reinventing how its brand is experienced. As Glover puts it: “Jaguar will come to life in a select number of these exclusive brand stores located where clients live, work, and play. They allow us to build direct client relationships and offer unique and personalized experiences. These stores will embrace their local cultures, with the Parisian location highlighting the city's rich heritage in art and its status as the home of luxury fashion.”
Fittingly, the first of these next-gen Jaguar boutiques will open in the Golden Triangle of Paris’ 8th arrondissement, surrounded by Maisons of fashion, art galleries, and heritage ateliers. A future-facing car showcased in the spiritual home of timeless style.
A New Era, Rooted in Authenticity
The Type 00 is not an homage, a reboot, or a declaration. Jaguar is once again crafting emotive, sculptural, and singular cars, drawing on Lyons's spirit, Malcolm Sayer's science—meets—art brilliance and the belief that luxury is not what you imitate but what you originate.
And so, as the streets of Paris echoed with camera shutters and whispers of “Did you see that?”, Jaguar didn’t just unveil a car—it reawakened its character. This is the real roar. And it’s just getting started.
