Belcanto
Belcanto is located in a legendary Lisbon building that first served as a men’s club back in 1958. It was reopened as a restaurant in 2012 by chef Jose Avillez, who helped Belcanto to earn two Michelin stars within just a couple of years.
It’s an intimate restaurant which seats just 45 guests, who choose from two tasting menus or an a la carte menu, with the hake with fig leaf being one of the top dishes to try here. Alma
With two Michelin stars to its name, Alma aims to offer a feast for all of the senses. Offering a menu of contemporary Portuguese cuisine with an Asian twist, it’s set in a traditional stone building that’s now been brought to life in a whole new way.
On the menu you’ll find plenty of fresh fish dishes, such as the Cobblestreet salted cod or Monkfish with chorizo and tomato. Make sure you ask the servers here for their top wine recommendation to finish off your meal perfectly.

Feitoria
For anyone visiting Lisbon for the first time, Feitoria is one of the best Michelin star restaurants to book to help you learn more about traditional Portuguese cuisine. The restaurant is known for its excellent service and elegant setting, where you can enjoy an extensive menu with plenty of fresh fish and seafood options.

100 Maneiras
Michelin star restaurant 100 Maneiras follows the concept of freedom, with no rules when it comes to the creativity of their menu. Chef Ljubomir Stanisic from Sarajevo arrived in Portugal following the war in his home country and has been passionate about cooking since this time.
Diners can choose from three tasting menus: Ecos do 100, O Conto or A Historia. The menu contains references to the chef’s home country with a modern twist on more traditional dishes. Expect seasonal menu updates and bold desserts.

Epur
Epur is located within the historic Chiado district, where you’ll find it based within an old, traditional building. Inside, you’ll be blown away by the modern and minimalist dishes and decor. Chef Vincent Farges from France uses vegetables as the base of most of his dishes, creating simple yet elegant seasonal menu items.

Loco
Alexandre Silva uses locally-sourced ingredients for all of his dishes at Loco and uses the micro seasons of Portugal to constantly update his menu. The menu is created to appeal to all of the five senses, with food presented in a very artistic and modern manner.
There’s only one option on the menu here, which is a 16-course tasting meal that’s updated throughout the year. The team can also recommend the best wine pairings for the various courses, which you can expect to include fish, beef, and seasonal vegetable dishes.

Fifty Seconds
Fifty Seconds by Martin Berasategui is the newest restaurant project from the popular SANA Group. It’s located at the top of the Myriad by SANA hotel, sitting 120-metres above the city below. This Michelin-starred restaurant is described as a spiritual project for the company, offering beautiful views over the water and a delicious range of dishes.
The name of the restaurant is inspired by the 50-second lift ride to the top of the tower, and when you arrive you’ll enjoy the extensive menu offering Portuguese and international cuisine. They offer a fantastic ten-course tasting menu, with dishes such as Jambon de Porc, Filet de Boeuf Roti and Crevette Imperiale Grille.
