Klaus Thymann is a Danish explorer, scientist, photographer, filmmaker and creative director. He is a Fellow of The Explorers Club and Royal Geographical Society.
With degrees in environmental science, Thymann has led over 50 expeditions across six continents, frequently summiting peaks and diving below ice. He has made scientific discoveries including finding new corals and glaciers.
As a journalist and documentary filmmaker, Thymann's work exposing climate issues has reached global audiences through major media like BBC, New York Times and National Geographic.
He has directed creative projects for institutions, NGOs and brands using his cross-disciplinary skills in exploration, visual media and journalism.
Passionate about the environment and arts, Thymann does pro bono work for organizations like UNICEF and Extinction Rebellion. In 2008, he founded the charity Project Pressure which uses art, science and activism to drive environmental action.
