Likewise, at less than 10 mm thick, it sits gracefully on the wrist and works with leisurely, casual outfits as well as it does with the long, delicate sleeves of formal attire.
Better still, this timelessly proportioned case — in stainless steel or 18ct red gold, with or without diamonds — safeguards a bespoke and indeed completely new movement. The Glashütte Original Serenade Luna is powered by Calibre 35-14, a fully mechanical yet modern movement with a silicon balance spring, a high-performing 60-hour power reserve (quite a feat from such a small movement), and an accurate 4Hz operating frequency. All this is to say that the Saxon manufactory has not cut any corners. Instead, it pushed to offer one of the highest-performing movements in any women’s watch available today.
