Francesca Lanzavecchia is an Italian designer and founder of Lanzavecchia + Wai Design Studio. Born in 1983 in Pavia, Italy, she graduated in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Milano and later completed a Master's at Design Academy Eindhoven.
In 2010, Lanzavecchia founded the studio with Hunn Wai, with offices in Italy and Singapore. Her projects span industrial design, installations and limited editions, each telling a unique story.
She has collaborated with leading brands like Zanotta, Fiam, Living Divani, Hermes, and cultural institutions like Triennale Milano. Lanzavecchia has received awards including the Red Dot Award for Product Design and the Elle Decoration International Design Award for Young Designer Talent of the Year.
For Lanzavecchia, design is a research journey utilizing different disciplines to create concepts and products that inspire new perspectives.
