The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Kingsman Knife Watch, presented alongside luxury retail destination MR PORTER is a special, one-in-a-hundred limited edition watch created to honour the upcoming release of The King's Man — the third film in the British comedy-action Kingsman series.
As the Kingsman film series blends James Bond-style suaveness with a tongue-in-cheek contemporary air, the design of this watch draws upon over 100 years of manufacturing history, using the iconic 1907 Couteau pocket watch as a key template. In this respect, Jaeger-LeCoultre honour the series' key themes of passing elegance through the generations while updating said elegance with a modern twist.
Crafted in Switzerland, the watch boasts an 18-karat rose gold case with a sapphire crystal matched to a brown strap. The diameter is 40mm, with the pink gold case just 4.25mm thick.
This exterior houses the hand-wound calibre 849 with a 35-hour power reserve. Coupled with 19 jewels and an operating frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, this slim movement makes for an ultra-thin watch with the necessary watchmaking know-how to maintain great timekeeping.
To celebrate the watch's inclusion in the world of the Kingsman film series, the case-back has been engraved with the Kingsman logo and the finished piece is displayed in a Kingsman sleeve box; making it an essential addition for fans of the series.
The Kingsman motto is ‘Manners Maketh Man' — this timepiece, blending functionality with refinement, is the perfect complement for the modern gentlemen.
