Juan Danilo is an award-winning Peruvian chef passionate about his country's cuisine. Since 2018, he has been Culinary Manager for Verstegen Spices & Sauces in Germany.
Danilo helped promote Peruvian food through a major Coca-Cola campaign and his 2019 cookbook “Ceviche – Peruanisch magisch”. He previously worked under renowned chef Chakall and helped redesign several restaurant concepts in Berlin.

Danilo draws on Peru's multifaceted culinary heritage blending Incan traditions with Spanish, Italian, African, Chinese, and Japanese influences. His creative interpretations have brought Peruvian cuisine international recognition.

In 2018, he won the Award of Excellence in NYC for his dedication to Peruvian food. Danilo's contemporary, refined dishes showcase the freshness and diversity of his native cuisine. His artistry and innovation are shaping the global profile of Peruvian gastronomy.
