Luciano Monosilio is a chef and entrepreneur from Albano Laziale, Italy. After graduating in hotel management, he started his career at Roscioli's Salumeria con Cucina. He did internships with famous chefs Fulvio Pierangelini and Mauro Uliassi.

He then spent 2 years training in a restaurant in Cape Town, South Africa which helped develop his skills as a kitchen manager. On returning to Italy, Luciano worked under chef Enrico Crippa. He then began an 8-year partnership with Alessandro Pipero at Pipero al Rex and later Pipero Roma, winning Michelin star in 2012.

Known for codifying carbonara recipes in fine dining, he earned the nickname “King of Carbonara”. In 2014, he won the Best Chef under 30 award from Identità Golose. In 2021, his carbonara recipe became an NFT in collaboration with GialloZafferano.
